Quality castilian wines in Toro

TAGS:Wines of Castilla y León are among the most recognized in Spain. With an extra flavor and a quality defined by its long experience, history and tradition, they are exported overseas and have an excellent life with outstanding cellars.

This is the case of the wine of Toro, which extends over the community of Castilla y León, mainly in Zamora and a part of Valladolid, with a total of 62,000 ha and a vineyard area of 8,000 ha.

The most important grape varieties are the Tinta de Toro, a Tempranillo uniqueness of unknown origin, although it could date from the Roman age and currently has the certification seal as an autochthonous variety and name. Other varieties of the DO Toro are Garnacha, Verdejo and Malvasia.

Top beer consuming countries I

TAGS:Taking a look on "The Drinks Business" web I saw that they published the other day an interesting article in which they offered a ranking of world’s top beer consuming countries. The data provided were drawn from the website of the World Health Organization but there was a misunderstanding ... the ranking did not show the ten countries that consumed more beer but those who consume more liters of pure alcohol in general.

Aside from the discomfort of many users who were visibly offended to read that Germany and Ireland were not among the top places of the list, the point is clear: beer has less alcohol than wine and even less than distillates.

Vodka distillation process

TAGS:Has anyone heard of Jean Marc XO Vodka? And more importantly has anyone tasted it? Today it goes about vodkas but rather than talking about brands of vodka (that we all know by heart), I wanted to devote a few lines to the importance of the distillation process, which directly influences the quality and outcome of the drink.

The vodka brand that I mentioned in previous lines holds the record for being the one that is most times distilled in the world, no more and no less than nine times. Clearly, the price soars, especially in comparison with other vodka brands, and precisely why and because of how special it is it should not be mixed (needless to say, but just in case).

TAGS:Have you ever thought which wine would buy if you won the lottery? It is clear that in addition to the usual, but rather than bottles or boxes, in pallets, we should probably go for one of the most expensive wines in the world. At least one bottle of some of those wines attached to a prohibitive price which only a few privileged ones can enjoy some time in their life.

I already have my Christmas lottery numbers (as I have notice that the EuroJackpot pass by every week) and have I started to investigate which ones are these wines so expensive. As you can see I feel very optimistic about the whole matter. Specifically, at clubdarwin.net web page I have found a list of the 10 most expensive wines in the world.
